Week 3 Challenges - and we are still in the race!

The ADSR is getting more exciting each week!

For challenge #5, we had to scrap about something that has been passed on to us or something we learned from someone else. You can see the challenge details at Butternug Squash.

Here are our pages...

Challenge #6 was sponsored by Elemental Scraps (see challenge details here) and only one of us could do the challenge. Aimee did the layout for this round. She had to make a messy layout and include at least 15 elements and no more than two elements must be from the same designer. I knew she could do the challenge better than me. Here's her page...

We'll be back next week for another round of challenges! Stay tuned!

Week 2 Challenges - Done!

Another week over and we are STILL in the race. Yey us! Here are my layouts for the challenges.

For Challenge #3, we had to scrap a storybook theme. Use either "Once upon a time", "Three wishes", or "Queen of the world". I chose the first one and here is my page.

Challenge #4 required us to have the word "goal" in our layout and the letter "G" must be prominent. So, what better topic to scrap than my scrapping goals. I have a lot so I just listed the ones I had to finish for July. :)

I'm off to see if the new challenge is up and where. :)

Week 1 Challenges - completed!

We finally completed the 2 challenges required for the first week of the ADSR. Here is my page for the first challenge.

The challenge was to scrap about a museum or exhibit I've been to or been wanting to go to. And since I didn't have any photos of a museum or exhibit, I had to search for stock photos on the internet and "Museo Pambata" was what I found. Since we were visiting Manila in a few months, thought I'd scrap about it and take note of visiting it when we get there.

For the second challenge, Aimee and I had to scrap a layout together about friendship. And it also had to include the following in the LO: doodle, red, 2 photos, and flowers. What better subject to scrap than our own kids -- R2 and Leelai. They are first cousins who also share a special friendship.

And this is what we came up with...

Week two is about to begin. Can't wait to see what's up next!

Welcome us!

Yehey, after finally deciding on our team name and submitting our application, we are officially signed in as participants to the second season of The Amazing Digi Scrapping Race.

Here is our blinkie courtesy of the ADSR Coordinators...

The race starts on July 16. And the official starting point is at NDISB. Since this is our first race we really don't know what to expect.

We will be back soon to introduce ourselves.
